People in the Philipines can now pay their bills with XRP. BitPinas says that XRP can now be used in place of traditional fiat currency on the payment platform coins.ph.
This app allows users to pay bills directly with XRP. It was launched in 2014 and has 5M active users with plans to expand to over 20M in 2 years. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Cash are also offered on the platform. XRP’s quest for mainstream adoption is unfolding and covering large regions of the planet at a time.
XRP holders can now also use the Wirex Visa card to pay for everyday things like food and groceries. Users have already transferred millions of XRP and starting making everyday purchases just within hours of the launch of the card. This is big news for XRP and they’re not stopping anytime soon as they continue to expand their customer base all over the world.
