VeChain Featured on Advancements With Ted Danson

CNBC highlighted VeChain on the newest episode of Advancements With Ted Danson. The show’s aim is to show off new trends in technology. COO Kevin Fang of VeChain was featured on the show and he went over the benefits of blockchain tech in supply chain logistics, payments, and beyond on the show.

Fang went over the blockchain basics and how it’s used in business transactions, facilitates trust between parties, and transfers values and confirms data between parties. Bitcoin is the first public blockchain.

Fang went into depth discussion how VeChain issuing blockchain with new tech and AI to track the lifecycle of a product, which can allow hard data for businesses to improve business transactions, efficiency, and data mining for increasing profit. Fang also talks about how products can be authenticated and where it was created in the world to reduce counterfeiting and tampering.

The segments also feature VeChain’s brand new partnership with BYD- the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer. BYD build a hybrid, combustible, and electric cars, taxis, vehicles, coaches, trucks, and other industrial equipment.

BYD and VeChain plan to use the VeChainThor blockchain to create a carbon trading system that analyzes the amount of harmful emissions vehicles emit and reward operators that offer the least amount of pollution.
