Yahoo! Adds Cryptocurrency Pairs; FRED Database Gets Crypto Listings

A Yahoo! news report on Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group, was recently posted on the news giant. The report includes a list of financial stocks such as American Express, JP Morgan Chase, and Prudential Financial are posted with a few crypto-fiat pairs.

Just the fact that Yahoo! is including crypto in the official Yahoo! report now shows how far crypto has gone to the mainstream audience. It’s making the whole “fad” not so much a “fad.”

Although Yahoo! has lost some relevancy compared to where it was a few years back, it’s still a main news outlet for over 151 million visitors in the US alone in 2015.

Recently last week, a few cryptocurrencies were added tot he Federal Reserve Economic Data database, which is one of the gold standards as resources for financial investors and it’s widely trusted and used by mainstream news and media outlets. This means any crypto to news will have much more exposure to investors and news outlets.

Crytpo has also adopted a new rating system overseas by the Chinese government which places the best 30 coins ranked by application, innovation, and technology. EOS was found to be the leader in the most recent review.
